FAQ

Get answers to the most frequently asked questions about luggage repairs in our FAQ section. It’s part of our ongoing commitment to provide you with outstanding service.

Can I send you a picture of my broken luggage?

Yes you can, but keep in mind that we might not be able to determine the true nature of the problem—the cause may not be visible. (It’s like sending a photo to a car mechanic and asking if a problem can be fixed.) Therefore, we recommend bringing your luggage into the repair center so we can do a proper assessment and determine the nature of the problem.

How long will it take to repair my suitcase?

After examining the bag in person, we’ll be able to tell you approximately how much time it will take to repair it.

What is covered by the warranty?

In most cases, the warranty only covers manufacturing defects. Such defects would normally appear within the first three months of use. It excludes normal wear and tear and any damage caused by another party.

Can you send me a replacement for my defective bag?

Sorry, but we cannot, under any circumstances, send replacement luggage. Every manufacturer manages its warranty program differently: some may send a replacement, others will not. This is one of the reasons why we need to see your luggage first and assess the level of damage based on the brand.

Can you ship me back my luggage after repairing it?

It depends. Some manufacturers cover the shipping fee if the item is under warranty. In other cases, you will have to pay the shipping costs for EVEX to return the luggage to you.

What repair services to do you provide?

We can repair:

  • Zippers
  • Handles
  • Rips
  • Wheels
  • Linings
  • Damage from normal wear and tear
  • Much more

Can you install wheels on my luggage?

Not any type of wheel. Most luggage comes with a specific type of wheel and the housing is designed to fit only that wheel. This means only the wheels for your particular model can be installed; no others will fit.
